Product Pick-up

Donation pick up can be arranged for many types of products and goods. All donations are tax deductible!

Fee Based Priority Pick-up with ReSupply

Fee Based Priority Pick-up with ReSupply

• Pickups by third-party hauling company within 48-72 hours.
• Items of ANY condition picked up
• Item retrieval from anywhere including within residence or a storage unit.
• Disassembly of items that need it (except doors, cabinets, or lighting).
• Dallas Habitat for humanity donations reflect the operating costs and are much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee (fee is not tax-deductible, but donated items are).

Free Standard Residential Pick-up

• Pickup scheduling with Dallas Habitat is based on space availability of qualifying items availability
• Items should be new or gently used and in good working condition without any excessive wear, tears, stains, or marks.
• Items must be easily accessible and already disassembled. Drivers do not carry tools and are not allowed to go upstairs or further than one central room.
• Please have items in a garage, or driveway or first floor front room and labeled for Dallas Habitat.

What Residential Items Does Dallas Habitat ReStore Accept?

We generally accept the following types of new or gently used items.Please note that this is not a comprehensive list. To discuss your specific donation, please contact us at 214-678-2309.

  • Furniture (excludes: office furniture, armoires, china cabinets, entertainment centers, or items completely outdated)
  • Cleaned major and minor appliances that are less than 10  years old
  • Standard size doors, window and screens
  • Home decor (i.e. artwork, framed mirrors, artificial plants)
  • New Boxed tile with a minimum amount to complete a small job
  • Tools (working condition)
  • Sinks (new)
  • Toilets (new)
  • Windows
  • Lighting

What Items does Dallas ReStore not accept?

There are some items that we can not resell, and we do not accept these for donation

  • Office desks, cubicles, and metal file cabinets
  • Used area rugs
  • Carpet /Flooring remnants
  • Large countertops / Granite slabs
  • Used Christmas trees
  • Mattresses / Box Springs
  • Cribbs, car seats, highchairs, toys
  • Household items: (Pillows, blankets, dishes, curtains, etc.)
  • Personal items (Clothing / Shoes / Purses, etc.)
  • Brick remnants
  • Paint / Chemicals / Cleaning Product remnants

Depending on the condition, ReStore may accept some items. Our needs change from time to time,so please call us to discuss, but here are some items that we may accept based on condition.

  • Lawn Care items
  • Sports equipment / gaming tables
  • Gently deconstructed standard size cabinets
  • Hardware
  • Pianos
  • Tubs
  • Shower stall systems
  • Electrical supplies
  • Plumbing supplies
