Interested in retail operations? Volunteer at one of our ReStores!

The Dallas Habitat ReStore is a retail store that stocks new and gently used home decorating and home improvement products at a deep discount. ReStore volunteers work alongside staff to create a friendly environment for our customers. We have four ReStores that are open seven days a week, giving the most flexible options for volunteers to donate their time.

Individual and group volunteers work alongside our staff, ReStore Core volunteers, and other volunteers in a variety of ways: greeting and assisting customers, accepting donations, sorting, preparing, and moving items on the sales floor, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and much more. We would love to have you join us at any of the four ReStores!

Volunteers can join one of our four ReStore retail locations work alongside our staff and other volunteers greeting and assisting customers, accepting donations, sorting, preparing, and moving items on the sales floor, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and much more.

Open to: 14 to 15-year-olds with an adult (For groups: one adult for every five youths); Anyone 16 or older.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, Blue Hat Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year of service.

Open to: Anyone 18 or older. Volunteered at least 4 times and be accepted by the ReStore manager.

Commitment: One-year minimum to the program, with a weekly shift commitment (when possible).

Do you need community service hours for work, court requirements, or benefits? If so, we invite you to volunteer at ReStore to complete those hours with us.

Open to: Ages 18 or older. You can not be under court ordered community service of offenses related to theft, aggression, adult crimes involving minors, Arson; Weapons or Forgery.

Commitment: Flexible

As a volunteer greeter, you’ll have the opportunity to meet many wonderful people as they come in to shop or donate items, and help them have an enjoyable experience. Volunteering is a fun experience that builds your skills and helps you foster new relationships.
