Free Pickup for Furniture and Household Item Donations

Whether you’re renovating your kitchen or redecorating the living room, we’ll pick up your unwanted furniture, fixtures, and cabinetry–for free. You’ll receive a tax receipt for your donation, save money on hauling it away, and prevent your furniture from ending up in the landfill!

Proceeds from your donations to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, go directly to building homes for deserving families in your community. Last year, the revenue generated by the Dallas ReStores helped us to build over 50 homes in Dallas neighborhoods!

What Residential Items Does Dallas Habitat ReStore Accept?

We generally accept the following types of new or gently used items.Please note that this is not a comprehensive list. To discuss your specific donation, please contact us at 214-678-2309.         

• • Tools (working condition)
  • Sinks (new)
  • Toilets (new)
  • Windows
  • Lighting

   

What Items does Dallas ReStore not accept?

There are some items that we can not resell, and we do not accept these for donation

• Mattresses / Box Springs
• Cribbs, car seats, highchairs, toys
• Household items: (Pillows, blankets, dishes, curtains, etc.)
• Personal items (Clothing / Shoes / Purses, etc.)

Depending on the condition, ReStore may accept some items.

Our needs change from time to time, so please call us to discuss, but here are some items that we may accept based on condition.

• Tubs
• Shower stall systems
• Electrical supplies
• Plumbing supplies

Already Packed Up?

We offer free pickup for your convenience. However, you can also drop donations off at any store and our friendly staff will help you unload and write you a donation receipt.

All donations are tax deductible, as allowed by the Internal Revenue Code.
