Ashley Brundage's Biography
Chief Executive Officer
Ashley Brundage is passionate about transforming Dallas through the power of affordable homeownership. Her vision is to drive systemic change, innovate housing solutions, and forge impactful public-private partnerships to break the cycle of poverty and uplift communities.
With 17 years at United Way Dallas as Executive Director of Housing Stability and SVP of Community Impact, she led initiatives to address affordable housing and homelessness.An active community advocate, Ashley chairs the Dallas Housing Coalition, which she helped establish in 2023. She also serves on the boards of HousingForward, The All Neighbors Coalition, and the DFW Housing Consortium.
During the COVID pandemic, Ashley spearheaded the Dallas Rental Association Collaborative and North Texas Cares, securing substantial funding to support housing stability and nonprofits.
A native Texan and Coppell High School graduate, Ashley is a Proud Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2001 and holds a Master’s in Social Work from UT Arlington. She is a member of Leadership Dallas Class of 2019 and YPO DFW. Ashley is married to Chris and proud mom of Owen and Mary.
Haley Coates-Huseman's Biography
Chief Real Estate Officer
Haley Coates-Huseman is the Chief Real Estate Officer at Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, leading their real estate development projects from land acquisition to handing the keys over to homeowners. She is deeply involved with the Urban Land Institute (ULI), serving on the Americas Young Leaders Group Steering Committee, and as a member of the Public-Private Partnerships Product Council.
Haley’s work is focused on creating more inclusive opportunities in urban development, particularly in underserved areas, and she advocates for equal opportunities for all residents. Her leadership in these initiatives highlights her commitment to transformative community engagement and sustainable development, which won Haley the Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award in 2022. She received an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Real Estate from SMU in 2023.
Haley is a board member of White Rock YMCA and resident of East Dallas with her husband Erik and pups Nate and Georgie. Haley loves to travel and take morning walks at White Rock Lake with a coffee in hand.
Kathryn Cox's Biography
Chief Development Officer
Kathryn Cox (she/her) is a dynamic fundraising executive with over 15 years of success in surpassing revenue goals and driving sustainable growth for nonprofits.
As the Chief Development Officer for Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Kathryn leads fundraising strategies to expand access to affordable housing. She works closely with key stakeholders, corporate partners, and board members to drive philanthropic investment in the organization’s mission, ensuring sustainable funding for homeownership initiatives that strengthen communities.
Prior to this role, Kathryn was the Chief Development Officer for the Kansas-Oklahoma Region of the American Red Cross, where she led a team to exceed ambitious fundraising goals. Under her leadership, the team exceeded their target goals by 125%, secured historic funding from tribal partners, and played a pivotal role in disaster relief fundraising. Her leadership and ability to develop a collaborative culture earned her the title of “Chief Development Officer of the Year” in 2024. Kathryn previously held leadership roles at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, where she managed corporate partnerships and spearheaded digital fundraising initiatives. Her expertise spans major donor cultivation, board engagement, strategic planning, and organizational growth.
Born, raised, and educated in the Dallas/Worth area, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Texas and still resides nearby in Keller with her husband, daughter, and dog. Kathryn is an avid reader, passionate traveler, self-proclaimed at-home chef, and soccer mom extraordinaire.
Karla Goss' Biography
Chief Financial Officer
Karla Goss is a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience in managing multi-million dollar non-profit and for-profit operations.
With a strong background in financial, operational, and strategic planning, Karla excels in simplifying complex issues and driving organizational growth. She is known for her ability to increase employee morale and retention and has a proven track record in P/E backed mergers and acquisitions. Karla’s expertise includes budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
She is a collaborative leader with a talent for building and inspiring teams and has successfully led financial operations for various organizations. Karla holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration – Accounting from Oklahoma State University. In her free time, Karla loves to volunteer, travel, and spend time with family and friends. She is an accomplished pianist and singer.
Cory Hohweiler's Biography
Chief Operations Officer
Cory Hohweiler is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in business strategy, operations, and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity.
With a proven track record in leadership, team building, and operational efficiency, Cory has played a pivotal role in Habitat’s continued success. He has pioneered innovative approaches in procurement and construction, enhancing cost-effectiveness, and has developed expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, retail operations and land acquisition.
Prior to his work with Habitat, Cory honed his skills at Grand Homes and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, where he drove cost reductions and provided leadership training and operational consulting.
Tiffany Leon's Biography
Chief Engagement and Strategy Officer
Tiffany’s journey with Dallas Habitat began in 2013, and over the years, she has had the privilege of serving in several roles. Currently, she serves as the Chief Engagement and Strategy Officer (CESO), where she leads both internal and external engagement efforts. Externally, she oversees Volunteer and Community Engagement, driven by her love for people and a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships. As the leader of the Culture and Engagement Committee, Tiffany works to create an environment of trust and collaboration, where every voice is valued, and innovation can thrive.
Her passion for community engagement is deeply rooted in her upbringing, growing up in a close-knit community where her parents led by example. Their activism sparked her own journey, which focuses on addressing issues such as inequities in legislation, education, health, and affordable housing.
In addition to her professional work, Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in Organizational Leadership and is a proud graduate of Leadership Southwest and the Black Women in Non-Profit Leadership cohort. When she’s not working, Tiffany enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, cheering on her favorite sports teams, playing spades, and dancing!
Domonique Hollins' Biography
Chief Marketing Officer
Domonique “Dom” Hollins (she/her) is an award-winning marketing executive with nearly 25 years of experience in brand transformation, strategic marketing, and community engagement. She has successfully built and scaled brands across nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, and community-based organizations.
As Chief Marketing Officer at Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Dom leads its strategic brand positioning, marketing, and public relations efforts. She is passionate about driving impact through compelling messaging, dynamic partnerships, and deep community engagement.
Previously, as Chief Brand Officer at Kesem, she spearheaded multi-channel fundraising and digital marketing strategies, generating over 67 million views and raising $25 million to support children impacted by a parent’s cancer. Before that, she served as Vice President of Brand Strategy at Teach For America. Domonique began her career in account management at advertising agencies, including J. Walter Thompson and McCann in New York. She worked with clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Capital One.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from The University of Texas at Austin. Committed to service, she is actively involved in organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Outside of work, Dom enjoys reading, traveling, and experimenting with gardening. She lives in Plano, Texas, with her husband, two daughters, and their dog.
