Corporate Product Donations
We can help corporations clear out warehouses and graciously welcome the donation of overstocked goods, scratch and dent items, last year’s styles, and any other bulk product goods you may have. Although we are not able to accommodate large office furniture pieces, or electronic equipment, many reception and breakroom areas have furniture, appliances, televisons and artwork that are of great benefit to us. Your contributions will assist us in our mission, keep things out of landfills and give you the added bonus of cleared space and great tax benefits. Residental Product Donations
We accept most residential furniture donations that are in good or new condition. Items should not be visibly stained, ripped, damaged, broken, or moldy. If you have questions about a specific piece of furniture, please contact our donation line at 214-678-2309.
What Residential Items Does Dallas Habitat ReStore Accept?
We generally accept the following types of new or gently used items.Please note that this is not a comprehensive list. To discuss your specific donation, please contact us at 214-678-2309.
- Furniture (excludes: office furniture, armoires, china cabinets, entertainment centers, or items completely outdated)
- Cleaned major and minor appliances that are less than 10 years old
- Standard size doors, window and screens
- Home decor (i.e. artwork, framed mirrors, artificial plants)
- New Boxed tile with a minimum amount to complete a small job
- Tools (working condition)
- Sinks (new)
- Toilets (new)
- Windows
- Lighting
What Items does Dallas ReStore not accept?
There are some items that we can not resell, and we do not accept these for donation
- Office desks, cubicles, and metal file cabinets
- Used area rugs
- Carpet /Flooring remnants
- Large countertops / Granite slabs
- Used Christmas trees
- Mattresses / Box Springs
- Cribbs, car seats, highchairs, toys
- Household items: (Pillows, blankets, dishes, curtains, etc.)
- Personal items (Clothing / Shoes / Purses, etc.)
- Brick remnants
- Paint / Chemicals / Cleaning Product remnants
Depending on the condition, ReStore may accept some items. Our needs change from time to time,so please call us to discuss, but here are some items that we may accept based on condition.
- Lawn Care items
- Sports equipment / gaming tables
- Gently deconstructed standard size cabinets
- Hardware
- Pianos
- Tubs
- Shower stall systems
- Electrical supplies
- Plumbing supplies
